I don't think people understand arrest TBH. What the people want is a perp walk of shame. What we are getting are ankle monitors and interrogations. The arrests are happening. The public shaming is not. ⇝Working in a boat yard one guy was locked up for crack that I worked with. Meaning he stayed in prison when he wasn't at work. ⇝ Expanding now to explain: guy had crack. Guy gets incarcerated. They let him out of prison at 5am so he can get to work. He needed to be back in prison by 8pm. Monday - Friday. This was a 4 year sentence.
