I guess, but IMO; I'm not an expert per se, but I've been very passionately interested in all things military / tactical / etc. Literally since I could read; you know those YUGE like 1-2"+ thick coffee table books that are basically encyclopedias with teeny font and thousands of pages?
I used to read those, cover to cover, about mil aircraft, ships, etc. So; not an expert, but definitely better informed than your average bear about all this sort of stuff.
That said; I think it's a HUGE risk to USSS as well as xiden for him to have flown private.
I just think it's insanely odd and a very, VERY high security risk that, of all agencies, USSS allowed the "incoming president" to fly aboard a private aircraft. They have far more control over military aircraft than any private jet.
It would be way too easy to sabotage, plant explosives, or otherwise tamper with a private aircraft than mil.
Put it this way; if you were a prominent politician and you had the choice of flying aboard some random jet or a US Military Aircraft that has only ever been at a US Air Force base; which would YOU select?
Also; no private aircrew is going to come close to the vetting & background checking of most active duty military pilots, IMO. It just doesn't add up.
