Maniacs the lot of them

Maniacs. AKA people who actually believe in what they are doing and will stop at nothing to enact their insane agendas.

Sociopaths just kind of...don't care. They are the kind of people who will work hard, almost like machines at something, but they don't have ideologies because they don't care, they don't want to murder 2/3rds the world, because they don't care, and they are not democrat or socialists because again, they are nothing but pragmatists who don't care.

See simple pragmatism would say that instead of covering up for a huge network of pedos, and massive corruption, all while punching down on the people so hard they incite armed revolt...instead you hang all the pedos, clean out the corruption so the government works, and toss the people "baskets of cookies" an some jobs to make sure they are reasonably happy with government and go home leaving you in charge.

Maniacs on the other hand will institute fascism to keep pressing those agendas they really care about, and start flailing around and shooting the people and iron-fisting harder and harder trying to maintain absolute total control because everything is all about them and their crazy ideals and nobody should ever be allowed to obey then and...well I think you get the picture.

In wartime sociopaths are the guys who actually end up being war heros more often than not. They are near immune to PTSD (again they don't care, don't have strong emotions) and go in, kill the enemy like a machine when needed, sparing the enemy when it makes no sense to kill, get the job done, get out, make it in time for chow because food is good. Maniacs go in napalm the villages, order about 10 atrocities because they are cracked in the head about showing the enemy who is boss and making the enemy tremble in terror before them... so they firebomb civilians and commit massacres of already defeated enemies trying to surrender.

The point to all this is actually in defense of sociopaths. They are people who don't get stress, simply don't care about fads ideologies, or insanity, and will work tirelessly towards pragmatic solutions because they don't care in any direction other than tangible, logical progress.

And yes maniacs absolutely HATE sociopaths and try and kill them anywhere they can because the latter are an absolute threat their megalomaniacal control.

The problem we have is our government has been completely overtaken by maniacs. Look in their eyes, you can FEEL the insane, intense crazy out of near lot of them.
