Could be accelerating onset of Parkinson's. Fits the intermittent confusion, speech anomolies, outbursts of anger, stiff gait/walking motion, general frailness, and progressive decline. Parkinson's is also a condition whose symptoms for some people (in early to mid onset), can be dramatically mitigated with certain meds for periods of a few hours to several hours and even days at a time. Over time, meds become less effective and severity of symptoms increase.
