Buddhists are mostly cool and not as infiltrated as Christian churches have been, though they have more extremists (violent terrorists) than Christians.
Most of them believe that Buddha went to outer space, met angels called devas and received secret knowledge from said 'angels'. Either fake, or the 'devas' were demons IMO.
I understand society has been conditioned to believe biblical stories as ridiculous, but do independent research - people call it 'biblical' for a reason, when God does miracles, he does not care if people then or now believe they happened or not. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men (1 Cor:25)
People have analysed samples of Sulphur from Sodom and found 92-99% purity - which doesn't occur in nature.
Science has now backed up things such as the separation of the red sea (there's modern evidence it happened), the flood, spherical earth, information being in blood (Leviticus 17:11: For the life of the flesh is in the blood), that there was a beginning, air has weight (Job 28:25), mountains under the sea (Jonah 2:6), gravity & where the earth is (Job 26:7).
There's endless examples but I only allow myself >30 minutes per person when a topic like this comes up. It's up to you what to research and up to you what knowledge you're open to considering.
