While most of what you say it true, God did send the plagues, part the Red Sea and then closed it destroying the Egyptian army, provided Mana, water from a stone, the Ten Commandments and several other miscellaneous miracles to get the Israelite nation to a position where, with Joshua's leadership, they could stand and fight as a nation...We can not pick up the sword until God directs us to. Remember Jericho was not defeated by military might...
