Your argument is founded upon the bible being divine
Agreed, and you can decide whether that preposition is true or not by using the tools I gave you - the 2 pieces of scripture providing the nature of Christ and the suggestion to read-over his teachings with that in mind. You can certainly prove that Christ has the highest moral teaching humanity has ever encountered - that he didn't sin or lie provides a small step of faith to believing the divine claims.
The bible is written in a way that is open to interpretation in many areas
You're talking about the bible incorrectly, as if it were 1 book. It's a library of books. A better way to think about it would be 'the prophets contain the Word of the heavenly father, histories and prophecies', 'the gospels contain the memoirs of Christ', etc.
"the bible is divine."
Neither I nor the bible has made such claims. The bible is nothing more than a collection of written records of some of the interactions God has had with humanity - the reason it exists is solely to provide a record of teachings so that in the days of revelation we may have 'the gospel preached to the whole world'.
Obviously God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus (the manifest Word of God) are divine, but I recognize that there is certainly human error in the bible - a famous example is in Leviticus where someone wrote that sodomites will burn in hell.
Firstly only God can judge, and secondly from their perspective it was true - since the only visible sodomites were those men who slept with other men while married (since basically everyone got married) - cheating on their wives in the process. There was no monogamous gays like today. Obvious human error in the bible and good example of its fallibility (It's not the Word of God).
PROVE the bible is divine
That's up for you to decide with the earlier tools I mentioned - it's not up to me or God to hold your hand and do all the work for you. :P Edit: Okay I'll do it, I'll hold your hand fren. Apply Occam's razor to the Revelation.
Revelation was written nearly 2,000 years ago and spoke of a nightmarish world nobody could have imagined - a world in which government would control everyone (this was a time where most lands weren't ruled by governments and city-states were oases of civilization) completely.
A world in which you aren't allowed to buy and sell if you don't agree with the government. I could go on and on about supernatural, predictive knowledge in the bible... How would Isaiah know that the earth was round or that it hung on nothing? That the life of the flesh is in the blood? Impossible without God or 'muh aliens'.
Please note I never said the bible held no HISTORICAL accuracies, on the contrary, I stated exactly that it does
Good, so you're only disbelieving of the 'ridiculous' magical things, and know that the books are reliable for 'normal' things which happened.
God did ridiculous magical things and let the church decline because 'proving himself' so everyone will believe in him is not his goal. His goal is to have as many as possible chose to believe in him, because it's the right moral choice and it will give them peace.
I've spent a lot of time replying to you, so this will be the last one - sorry. I believe my replies contain high-quality information and you just need the key to unlock it and the information in the bible relating to the Teachings of God.
The key that he made is quite ingenious - no supercomputer or arrogant intellectual or robot will ever crack it. Humility. The more humble you are when you read the bible, the more you are allowed to understand. Really. I was an atheist and then agnostic before and reading the bible with humility was the most surreal experience of my life.
None of it makes perfect sense without humility - which is why all those arrogant and corrupt church leaders have to pretend so hard 'to know', 'that God spoke to them' and why they spend so much time trying to make a theology which can fool people.
