I used to have a friend who was black when I was younger. He called me nigr all the time (I am so disgusted with myself for abbreviating the word right now you have no idea), and I called him that too on occasion. It was all perfectly natural and normal. Black people still call each other nigr all the time. But apparently, if a black person calls another black person on these boards nigr he will be banned.
