• His wife's family owns a billion dollar shipping company called "The Foremost Group" (aka Foremost Maritime Corporation). Sister-in-law runs it and has previously sat on the board of The Bank of China. Wikipedia

• Same shipping company had/has a ship called the Ping May that was involved with a cocaine seizure (no arrests, apparently) of 90lbs, which snopes called "a relatively small amount"

I realize none of that incriminates Mitch or his wife, whom was a cabinet member in the trump administration, but its definitely a good place to start digging

One would think she's been vetted but she's been in politics a long time, so maybe each administration she's served under assumed the previous one checked her out...or maybe they didnt want to offend mitch by digging too deep, etc...she definitely wouldn't be the first secret slimeball in the past 4 years.
