The best way to argue anything with people that are resistant to such things is with as few words as possible and short open ended observations and rhetorical's that forces them to fill in the blanks and think, making them do the arguing work for you by causing them to ask themselves questions.
Other than that I have long since found that you can't really talk sense with the senseless so trying to force it will only make them try to ree you to death.
