I was scoring high school reading comprehension in 3rd grade, took reading and math classes with the older grade until the new principal came along and said I was making the other kids (of color) look bad, beat older kids in spelling bees for years and was valedictorian. Graduated high school with honors despite phoning it in towards the end. I’ve always been surrounded by lesser brains, and admittedly smoked myself a little retarded to cope with the world’s stupidity, but it still hurts to see just how stupid so many are. As I have always said since I was tested, I’m not a genius, I’m just gifted.
