I think Dave (among others) is suggesting that Xi (like Trump) is one of the good guys and is trying to dismantle the Deep State in China. Same for Putin. The Deep State still has a lot of control. As for Bitcoin, I also don't agree with his assessment. I can see blockchain technology possibly being used in the future but I personally won't touch Bitcoin. I really like Dave but like most of us, he isn't always right.
