He works in different ways sometimes Romans 2:4 “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” This verse says His Goodness leads men to repentance. Sometimes He uses fear of death, fear of hell and suffering, He knows best and what it takes to reach someone. I personally took a bad fall, was life-flighted, and had a Pastor ask me a very poimted and simple question, " If I died today, do I know for certain that I would go to heaven? " I said yes, but I really didn't know, and that question haunted me for years until I finally started asking serious questions and being serious about God. And this is what I learned Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
