Michael Aquino was the founder of the Church of Satan offshoot Temple of Set. Anton LaVey's COS was an emphatically atheistic affair despite all the fear-mongering; they were really just a group of Ayn Randian objectivists engaging in 'rational self interest' and epicureanism using Satanic imagery to ruffle feathers as part of LaVey's 'psychodrama' take on carnie con men (he was a carnie for years).
Aquino actually believed in Satan as a living diety, which went against LaVey's notion that the practitioner of 'Satanism' is their own god and that the supernatural was nonexistent otherwise, and was kicked out of COS. Aquino held a high position in the Air Force (colonel), was an intelligence officer, and was the first Satanic chaplain in the armed forces. He has been linked to several cases of abuse, grooming and conspiracy theories. Aquino died last June.
You're all not going to want to hear this, but he published a paper in 2003 about psyop warfare and discussed how a Q-type character could be employed in a 'psychology of victory'-type of brainwashing/programming.
