Rules of Politician Training

  1. Blame someone else.
  2. If someone says: "make better laws to solve these problems," Blame someone else then make laws that assume it's that someone else's fault.
  3. If someone uses logic to show how your laws aren't addressing the problem, blame someone else louder.
  4. If someone uses logic again, blame the entire group they are associated with, then pass laws to "solve the problem" using the assumption that that group is at fault as the guiding principle in the new law. This should make the problem so bad, people will stop looking at it because its too horrific. This is good in the short term, but bad in the long term because people's focus may come back to it at some point.
  5. To avoid the problems encountered in rule 4, find a new problem (bonus points if it doesn't actually exist) and blame someone else for it (extra bonus points if it is the same group that was giving you problems before).
  6. Smile and go collect your paycheck. Take extra pleasure in the fact that the people giving you a hard time are the same people who paid the taxes to help you buy a new Bimmer.
