You probably would have said that of me as I did the same when my daughter danced competitively (she's now a professional ballet dancer). I wasn't living vicariously through her any more than I was through my baseball playing son though. It was just a huge part of our lives...and I was sharing with friends and family just as they shared their lives with me. That's how we choose to use fb.
