I think the Dem voters have completely been duped by the media and if they saw the facts and just the facts, a meaningful number of them would've either stayed at home or left their ballots blank on President/VP. Dem voters were told Biden wasn't in decline, it was just a far Right conspiracy theory, and his debate performance proved it completely to them.

Energy workers were told he would preserve their jobs, yet he immediately betrayed them. And on and on.

The media has Dem voters by their nose rings and leads them around wherever they want them.

If you want to say those voters deserve it because they are stupid, blind, complicit, I can agree with that, but I also would argue that they have arrived there because the education system and media have filled them full of disinformation. Hence, duped.

I think if the Dems use the 25th Amendment to put Kamala in the White House in the coming months, many Dem voters will put two and two together and realize that they were completely lied to during the campaign and the far Right conspiracy theory about Biden's dementia was indeed true.

As for calling them hypocrites, I think the word applies thoroughly. It isn't mitigated by saying they believe their crap. Of course they believe it, but that belief is what makes them hypocrites. Newsom believes he isn't doing anything wrong when he dines indoors despite his ban against it. He thinks he's entitled. He's still a hypocrite. Pelosi didn't think she did anything wrong when she got her hair done. Her belief that she can rail about us not wearing masks makes her a hypocrite. The word completely applies.
