Very similiar to the Metro of DC. When the subway was being built, two "secret" tunnels were built, obstensibly for the nightly money collection train to park and discharge and take on Money for the various Metro Stations. The train is a double-car, armored subway car which has a self contained Diesel engine/ battery power source so it can run even if the Metro rail power shuts down ( which happens a couple of times every day, usually in rush hour). The one "money-shot" rails go to the Treasury Department Annex which has vaults. The other tunnel, you ask? It supposedly was never finished -- but then again, we know what that means, as in "not finished for the Original Design Purpose" -- which is the Official Version of the story. Research "The Huston Plan for Continuity of Government" and be amazed.
