I've heard people here/online talk about 'Q' clearance being the highest level clearance in gov etc, and that is not accurate or correct. I have/had a Q clearance. It pretty much has to uniquely do with DOE and nuclear stuff And no, SF selection is known as SFAS. The SF Q-course is simply the shortened version of saying qualification course and it's what you attend in the event that you successfully complete SFAS
