This verse can't be dispelled by translation bullshit:

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. " Lev 20:13

Before you claim that Jesus somehow overturned this law, he didn't and explicitly said so. He said that he fulfilled the law. So now we only need grace to be saved instead of following the law perfectly.

Jesus also taught not to throw the first stone if you are also sinful, but it doesn't negate that that person should be put to death as they have committed an abomination, it just means that we can't carry out the judgement.

Salvation means we agree with the law even though we cannot help but disobey it (Romans 7). Some gay people I'll agree may not be able to help it, and were "born that way", but we are all born into sin, and it doesn't make the actions we want to do that are against God's commandments any less sinful.

I don't care what animals do, we are not animals and if you are a Christian you would understand this. Animals also both murder eachother and cannibalize eachother, both also strictly forbidden by God. God's law is directed at humans, not animals.

But if your standards are to compare yourself to animals instead of God's Word, that's on you.

If you'd like to know what sodomy was focused on, it was spiting the seed, wasting it in the anus, by worshipping Moloch. They also threw babies as offerings as another way to spite the seed. The Bible literally talks about this.
