As a Traditional Catholic this gives me a little hope for the near future, but I've heard reports that Francis will not leave or resign or step down until they have legalized female deacons and same-sex "marriages" in the Church. They tried to push the deaconesses last year but it crashed and burned because not enough people in the Church are THAT stupid to forget what the Bible teaches. They're waiting a few more years until enough people are like "yeah sure I guess" to push it through. Gay "marriage" will be soon after that, depend on it. We're not out of this just yet. I'd say in the next 5-8 years we will see this stuff "legalized."

(Edit: not sure why someone is mad I'm stating some facts here. The Pope DID try to push for deaconesses last year, and they WILL try again someday, I just don't know when.)
