If it did, there wouldn't be hundreds of dioceses around the world (just that we KNOW of) where priests ranging from the lowest noob up to the level of cardinal were found guilty of this disgusting perverted shit and, instead of being tried in court and imprisoned for decades, were repeatedly shuffled around to different parishes all over the place, trying to hide it. It's the most massive problem the Catholic church has ever faced, and that's saying something.
