1-Biden is standing very close to the reporters.

2-the dead cat being used near Biden is very large, and even positioned in a way that it would be covered by Biden's hands if he were to reach out towards the crowd of reporters.

This is basically what I've been arguing all morning. No greenscreen. No CGI. Just a stupid optical illusion.
