I understand your point, but disagree. More - I even consider your words as being big undeserved insult about Japanese people.
I consider it insult for Japanese people, because it is obvious for me,that loyalty and honour was and is big part of Japanese culture. Comparing it to semites however - there is reason why arab or jew are stereotypical traders. It is good question how many of them are really good and where lies their loyalty. How many times would Japanese ever swear and break the oath (especially then) ?
Maybe there are good people among them, but I guess semites shall not be trusted.
If Japanese-American citizens shall maybe be isolated during WWII - lawful option would be maybe relocation to closed districts like "ghettos",but NOT government "camps" - that thing was clear abuse of power. Who would pay for that ? Well, those people left their homes right ? So leasing it to let them lease place somewhere else would be fair and the rest shall be paid by government. But Rosevelt was demoncrap (it is possible his roots were Dutch Jews in fact) not far away from being communist or fascist himself - and that's why it were concentration camps for Japanese people.
Second of all - well racism indeed exist(ed) and Americans not understanded Japanese culture.Basics about it: Japanese people are generally people of honour It was also racism because of obvious reason: why German-Americans were not treated same way ? Or Italian-Americans ?
