He talked about parellel universe and divergent timelines in 2000 when that shit was known but it was really really fringe. Time was still a very linear deal. Grandfather paradox was prevailing argument whereas now 20 years later it is basically mainstream there is multiverse, multi timeline etc.
Soooo he said all this in 2000 lots of people wrote him off. I keep it all in the back of my head. Because he said this timeline is not the same. It is close but not the same. Timelines veer off in direction they are not all directly parallel. So if the "angle" of our timeline was 2.5% across 20 years, even if we like 1 timeline "away" we still have diverged 2.5% over 20 years not counting any possible interference he had from interacting with our timeline.
But it seems to me we are truly in a fairly "adjacent" timeline to him and that yeah we could be adjacent and "angled" 2.5% away from his timeline over 20 years we are still heading for all the same events, a lot of the same events even happened. Just a slightly different route to get there.

My big thing I look at is if we are not in parallel timelines but maybe timelines are like orbits in a way and maybe that worldline has say a perfectly circular orbit and we are on a timeline with an orbit directly next to it, but our "orbit" is 2.5% tilted so that it mostly follows the exact same path except certain things are different is 2036 a point possibly where both timeline orbits intersect/overlap a little and the exact same thing happens regardless even if all comes about in a slightly different way?
