That said, its real. My dad survived, but his hands shake. He has also become irritable and forgetful when he wasn't previously. My mom is in physical therapy. My wife is particularly crushed about the gentleman with the pizza parlor.

They know my stance, and they both lean more right than left. My dad mockingly uses c'mon man when making fun of folks. But my sister is a nurse and has access to the vaccines early. She didn't do this some lefty rant. She just had access and offered. The rest is, well, history.

PS: I am currently living with them, and my wife and kids spend part of the day with me here. I then take them home, tuck them in, and return. It will probably be a month or two before they get back to a state of normalcy when I can return home.
