It’s not just that they are out of touch with reality. It is coupled with the fact that they are actually quite dumb because our education system is trash and has failed them. I teach college students who can barely write down complete sentences that make sense and they can’t write in script. These kids couldn’t take care of themselves if they wanted to and it’s horrifying. Years of babying and being spoiled has rendered them useless to society. I guess that’s what we get for turning our schools of academia into glorified daycare centers.
