Apple+jack to me suggests an iPhone. Later models have the headphone jacks removed. It also fits with the quoted post attributed to him (I doubt he wrote that himself.)

Someone might be missing an iPhone related to the election and possibly a mail facility.

Edit: Possibly related to Apple allowing law enforcement to hack iPhones? "How the FBI hacked the San Bernardino shooters iPhones, so cool!" has randomly been in the news just in the past few days.
