I saw an article like 10+ years ago that the oath isnt just no longer emphasized, but that people who swear by it are slandered and harassed as extremists within the medical field. Its something that doctors dont talk about, but it also looks like there was a malign influence in medicine doing all the groundwork for the whole industry to be made into poisoners and maimers at some future date.
