I'm old so I can say this: Most old people still think we are in the more honorable societal mores of the I Like Ike era, and are very gullible and their minds are set in concrete. It is very sad to me. Everyone knows older people fall prey to scammers every day. This is no different, just on a massive scale. Besides, I remember about 20 yrs ago, thinking that incessant CNN-watching was like an addiction, I didn't care for it. But I did not think they were blatantly lying. Times change!!
