If your bank doesn't withold direct deposits, or any other deposits, for the "obligatory" 3-5 business days, then you get your V.A. payment somewhere between the 25th and 28th.

DFAS is mandated to have ALL deposits posted to the various banks by the 25th of each month. The date you actually get paid depends on weekends and holidays, and whether your bank is a more "traditional" bank.

I have my V.A. monies direct deposited into a Greendot account. They don't withold deposits like the other "traditional" banks.
