Based on a study by The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, on March 31st, 2021. They try to spin the results though, and lie, of course.

Page 10, summary point #32:
“The resurgence in both hospitalizations and deaths is dominated by those that have received two doses of the vaccine, comprising around 60% and 70% of the wave respectively. This can be attributed to the high levels of uptake in the most at-risk age groups, such that immunization failures account for more serious illness than unvaccinated individuals.”
Page 18, summary point #56 (them lying, pointed out by Isolated_Patriot on OmegaCanada):
This is not the result of vaccines being ineffective, merely uptake being so high.
Even if the UK has a large percent of the population of their population fully vaccinated (which I've read they do), let's say 60-70% for the sake of argument ... then you might expect 60-70% of the hospitalizations to be from the vaccines, ONLY if the vaccines are a complete wash, no net effect. If the vaccines were safe and effective, the amount of the population in the "third wave" who are fully vaccinated should be <1%.
