It was N-Suta News on TBS. As far as celebrities go, the two main trannies on TV are Matsuko Deluxe (obese man who wears mumus) and Ikko (disgusting guy who wears kimonos but maybe looked feminine when he was younger).

Every channel does this, except for BS channels (Broadcast Satellite---run by NHK).
