Torba is a weird mix of contradictions from what I've seen, but for the most part he's honest about the handful of things he leans a little left on. View him like a "classical liberal". He believes in REAL freedom of speech.

The only time I've ever seen anyone banned on Gab that seemed even a little unfair was a handful(like 2-6) of hard core anti-Zionist full retard 1488 fucking idiots got banned from Gab based on some pretty shaky reasons. If I'm being honest I think Torba just got sick and tired of them handing the MSM ammunition to use to destroy his website. Honestly... I agreed with him at the time. These were the exception not the rule. These guys were posting stuff that just didn't need to be posted. They were the guy in the town square that stands on a box and just screams fuck over and over because technically they can.

Of all the sites out there right now the only two that appear to TRULY support free speech I'd say Gab is the top of the list followed by Minds. The rest fall WAY behind. Parler is just right wing Twitter. They just aren't big enough to be able to afford to ban people yet. Give it a few years and Parler will be banning anyone on the FAR right or most leftists. Parler is run/controlled/manipulated by people that I would call right wing elitists. Its not about freedom and MAGA. Its about controlling info and narratives just like Twitter, but right wing narratives.

What sort of lunatic builds a right wing/free speech website using cloud services controlled by ultra leftist Google? I'm a computer guy. 20+ years of unix/web/networking experience. Trust me Parler is still at this very moment vulnerable as hell. Big Tech will hit them again soon. The only thing that might stop that is Q/arrests.

Gab has been through a meat grinder and come out the other side stronger. It is a true free speech zone and the only reason I'm not on there daily is because I don't have time.

Yet they talked endlessly about Parler when google took it down just like they did Gab months/years prior. Why? Because Parler is "approved" by the right wing powers that be.
