Edit: So a follow up to my own question. Enzyme that glows when oxidated as stated in replies. Its been cloned from fire flies and was chosen because it means: "bringer of light." Also noted that Satan is sometimes referred to as the Lord of Flies. Ironic that the enzyme originates from a fly and is called luciferase. Theres also another coincidence with the name of the tech that uses this enzyme.
