My husband who knows military aircraft very well says the tanks on the bottom sides of the black hawk helicopters (to me they look like torpedos, LOL) are called "drop tanks" which are extended range fuel tanks, meaning these helicopters are equipped to carry additional fuel for a long-distance flight. Hmm...Gitmo perhaps?
My husband who knows military aircraft very well says the tanks on the bottom sides of the black hawk helicopters (to me they look like torpedos, LOL) are called "drop tanks" which are extended range fuel tanks, and are designed to carry additional fuel for long-ranges. Meaning these helicopters are training / equipped to go long-distance. Hmm...Gitmo perhaps?
