Unless you are the majority shareholder, by a lot and your Corp bylaws are rock solid… you have zero power.
The Silicon Valley way is to get bought. That’s the ultimate exit strategy… c’mon frens! Don’t you see?? The business strategy is to GET BOUGHT… it’s hardly about making products that make a difference for both the customer and the employees.
When VCs get involved…. Your company is well on its way to the highest and most powerful controller.
Look at it this way… Xiden is the CEO of America. But who are the board of directors? The ‘secret’ board :)
Ellen Pao had no power but she wanted the spotlight .. so she talked a lot about how underpaid and underrepresented women are in the VC world.
