"Republicans need to stop pretending that Democrats are the enemy.
"Democrats need to stop pretending that Republicans are the enemy."
"For Americans to effectively fight our true enemy, we must stand together. "
I've heard those lines before... in a movie:

Unfortunately, that's an actor delivering her character's lines.
Jennifer Lawrence released this clip on 10 June 2021, just yesterday...

In Mockingjay Part II, Katniss Everdeen, (character in first clip above) has this moment of epiphany when she has her last conversation with President Snow (the person she calls on for everyone to turn their weapons on):

If you have not read The Hunger Games Trilogy (highly recommended) or seen the 4-film series (recommended) I won't give away the ending, but will hint that, after all is said and done, Katniss realizes who the real "real" enemy is.
You will find gems like this in the books...
"During the second [drill], a Level Two drill meant for minor crisis --- such as a temporary quarantine while citizens were tested for contagion during a flu outbreak --- we were supposed to return to our living quarters."

What is not fixed, and is constantly changing, is when Q acts in the role of a counter-insurgent and when Q acts in the role of an insurgent.
The dynamic flux of events and counter-events is more ferrofluid than fluid:

A world of moves and countermoves, where "everything that seems clear is bent. And everything that seems bent is clear. Trapped in reflections you must learn to recognize when a lie masquerades as the truth and then deal with it effectively." (The Good Shepard / Film / No clips)
In the Hunger Games books and movies, once Katniss realizes that the world she lives in is no different from the arena she was forced to kill to survive in, recognizes who (metaphorically recognizes what) the real "real" enemy is an deals with it "effectively."
For professional actors, when the chains of illusion are struck, the transition from dark to light will be much more traumatic than enlightening compared to what normies will experience.
Hoping J. Lawrence makes it out of the dark and into the light.
