The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is one of the most depraved and horrific practices invented by humans to torture and murder animals. This festival was only recently invented, in Yulin China in 2009 and is “celebrated” annually, starting on 21st June and ending on 30th June every year. The basic premise is that the more the dogs and cats are tortured and made to suffer, the more adrenaline they release into their bodies, thus allegedly making them tastier. So in order to do this, they blowtorch in their faces, roast over open fires, and boil, all while fully conscious dogs and cats alive. (And skin them alive). (100,000 dogs are killed and eaten each year).

The proposed location backs on to a little park and is on a major intersection into the city .
