Um..the message sounds like good 'ol hopium, but I'm a little uneasy about this guys...

Here's why:

The name of the website happens to be the name of the author who wrote the infamous book "1900, or the Last President", that was published way back in 1896. Some of the story lines within the book eerily parallels the current U.S. political climate, with a man Bryan from New York City being elected as the U.S. President, and herald as the president of the "Common people". He abolishes the "Gold reserve" and restores the country back to the gold standard.

Sounds familiar?...

Here's the plot twist: the story ends with president Bryan becoming physically weak and told to resign. His government is unable to prevent the collapse of the dollar, which triggers a significant rise in socialism and anarchy, which then leads to civil war and the inevitable destruction of the U.S. capitol.

Talk about grim!

I know it's just a pure fiction, but I'm not sure we want to associate ourselves with such a dark outlook of America.

Anyone else agrees?

I don't believe it, but I'm not sure we want to associate ourselves with someone with such a dark outlook for America.
