Well today got the news her mom passed away and her father is pretty sick himself. The baby would've been her first grandchild and she was incredibly excited. We were all scared she was gonna miss the birth cause she was in the hospital, now she will never see the child. Add to that her mother has now lost her youngest child and due to travel restrictions won't even be able to attend the funeral all the while asking why she is still alive at the age of 86 while her daughter died.

The entire family has struggled financially throughout all this. It's not like life for white afrikaners in SA was easy before lockdowns started. Make no mistake, I'm not enjoying this movie at all.

But long story short, my wife saying that exact Q sentence, having never read it in the drops; saying that after such a shitty day, well it made me smile.
