Think about this: Hollywood & Silicon Valley are both hosted in the same state and even rough geographical area, and each produces crazy powerful and engineered products (products>ideas>forces>+-energy) that get sent around the world en-masse, creating what are essentially outwardly-focused addicts.
When the answer to everything is supposedly provided in the palm of your hand, why would anyone ever look inward? This is what our enslavers do not want us to do, because by doing this we realize our individual sovereignty, which happens to also reveal how connected we all are in that same sovereignty.
These two enterprises (esp. these that are "public-facing") hold enormous influence and power over people, and are part of the enslavement of which folks here are starting to see the more blatant signs as darkness lashes out in a (eventually) futile attempt to save itself.
It would be apt to say that much more of this will bring about a sort of zombie apocalypse as we've seen it begin already as people walk down the street living in fear with their attention sucked into these devices and not on the people around them. The same people who are put in our lives to offer opportunities to grow and learn and become better people are being ignored and the means and reasons are no accident.
