I'm definitely not an expert so I'm not saying this will work but have you looked into hydroponics, we may be able to grow some food easily enough indoors with grow lights etc.
Have you got or considered getting a freeze drier? They run like $3-4k and people seem to have an expectation that the food will last at least 30 years. I'm yet to get myself some bulk rice and beans storage.
I'm sure there are a fair amount of us who see the mini ice age issue looming, after all Trump mentioned that it'll be getting cooler 'It will start getting cooler' so it's not like the idea is totally foreign.

I'm yet to get myself some bulk rice and beans storage, the whole 20 litre buckets with mylar bags and oxygen absorbers process is pretty simple--the only thing I'm not sure about is they say you should freeze the rice for a couple of days to kill weevils/pests but apparently bay leaves help.
