As others are saying, people can, and do, change their minds about what they support. This attack on Klacik does not sit well with me and I feel suspicious of Candace now when I never have before. I know it is wise to look at a person's history to better know them, but in a lot of cases it is a means by which to pigeon-hole someone and not allow for changes due to personal growth and maturity. I hate that this all feels like sour grapes from Candace. It's disappointing. On the other hand I have learned that I can be fooled into feeling supportive of people who turn out to be highly questionable or ripe for scandal. I do not see Lindsey Graham clearly, for one example.
