Thanks Fren, I have lived in FL more than 40 years and have been through these storms many times :) I am expecting to lose power for several days and possibly flood. I live in a low population area in the woods (last to get our power turned back on) that is flood prone (part of our property not our house) and the river that is about a mile from me is already in minor flood stage. Good thing is this storm looks like it will move out quickly and not dump too much rain, we will just have to see how much it dumps upstream from us.

But we have plenty of extra food and water and a generator that will run our house. We have lived through many 7-day power outages so we know the drill. It could turn and not hit us at all, but right now we are dead center :) Are you also in the path?
