This is actually a good series, watched it on original airing. It is factually pretty correct, and follows history faithfully. These people unknowingly shaped a nation, but at the time just wanted to live their lives and be free. They were true heroes. And they knew REAL oppression, not like the mamby pamby snowflakes of today. I did pull this up and watch it, and you are so correct....
