Full disclosure, I'm a former educator. I'm a book author and I have a podcast about American education. I won't tell you which or where because moderators don't like us sharing information where we might actually want to pay to learn something, or just learn for free. But that's another story.

The other day, on my podcast, I had a returning parent on to further discuss the corrupt nature of their communist school district (red county, red state). They got me in contact with a parent who had a story to tell me that was currently occurring with their child. She called me and we talked. Her son had been thrown in the alternative school for the next 45 days due to telling a staff member in the hallway that their math teacher was saying inappropriate things about a fellow female student. This inappropriate teacher was a male.

So, yes. You heard that right. The students who was doing the right think in telling the employees, was silenced and thrown into another school filled with trouble makers because they were speaking out. The student was told to stay quiet. The mom was furious that her son had been treated this way.

The male teacher in question was making comments about a female students period/menstrual cycle and not allowing her to call her dad for the necessary products, and the teacher would also not let her go to the nurse. Other inappropriate comments were made too. The teacher would also take her cell phone off of her desk, even though she wasn't using it. In essence he was sexually grooming her by playing attention getting games etc.

I told the mom to have her son write down everything—names, quotes etc. and then call the police. She said she would now do that. When the police get involved in a K12 school matter, the district has to take a back seat in every case, in most states. Longer story short, in less than 24 hours, the teacher was fired. No explanation for the remaining staff nor the students.

Point being, talk to your children, never back down and call the police with everything in writing, and those teachers/administrators will be toast. This is one way we drain the swamp at the local level. It's time we bring back 21 Jump Street. Have your kids be detectives, then document everything in writing and call the police. Now get to it.
