I've done extensive research into this very subject, and what has emerged is that no one knows what the shape of the earth really is.
The math associated with plane and spherical trigonometry suggests that the size of the 'ball earth' we've been taught our whole lives is not accurate or possible. Either the earth is a flat plane (with normal undulations, like mountains) or it is a much, much, much larger ball than we've been told.
I believe in Q and the plan, and think that this subject plays into the cabal thing very closely. The 'ball earth', in my humble opinion borne of research, is a ~400 yr old cabal invention, designed to distance us from God and connect us to government. The distance was at first physical (massive universe, etc), then mental and emotional, as the ideas of a nearby God and creation fall into discouraged use, then outright disuse, then antiquity.
