Just know that misplaced agression is a normal, albeit misguided, defense mechanism. And the laughter comes from deep distress. There's a whole thing I could go into about how it presents itself more in adults who were not properly taught emotional regulation as children (and often as a result of having to respond to the capricious moods of their abusive parents) but it's not important. Everyone reacts this way to some extent.
Personally, I often feel the same way as OP. My friends I affectionately refer to as "my bot farm" have been extra annoying lately. I try to let it slide as best I can. After all, having a band-aid slowly peeled off is more painful than a quick tear. We have to remember that we're essentially dealing with children, and it's best to be kind as we can to them.
Tldr: I emphasize .edit bot farm, not boy farm, lol
