Apparently, the law currently allows a judge to determine whether or not a perpetrator should be registered as a sex offender if they are within 10 years of age of the minor for penile-vaginal intercourse. The bill referenced in this thread simply extends that to anal and oral sex.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. Either way tho, both should be punished regardless of where the victim was penetrated.

This headline seems highly dishonest as it’s already a law for penile-vaginal rape.
